Sponsor a concert or event:

Concert, soloist and event sponsors are a great way for businesses and individuals to support the Mendocino Music Festival and to be recognized as leading supporters of the arts in Northern California.

SPONSOR LEVELS, FEES & BENEFITS

*Sponsor fees

  • Official Festival Sponsor is $10,000
  • Big Band sponsorship is $1,750
  • Double bill concerts are $1,600;
  • Orchestra concerts, Emerging Artists Program, Ticket Envelope, and most special acts are $1,500
  • Chamber music concerts are $1,250
  • Children’s Matinee is $500
  • Concession Tent is $1,500
  • Piano Series concerts are $500 per concert
  • Village Chamber Concerts are $500 per concert
  • Soloist are $500
  • Special Guest Appearances are $1,000. 
  • Media Sponsor is $1,200 in-kind
  • Hospitality Sponsor is $1,800 in-kind
  • Non-Profit Partnerships are $600 in-kind

Benefits extended to Official Festival Sponsor and Sponsors of the Mendocino Music Festival’s evening and daytime concerts:

*Official Festival Sponsor (OFS) receives complimentary tickets in premium seating to concerts of choice and back cover of program for a full page four-color ad. OFS is an invited guest(s) to all Festival parties and events. Three banners with OFS name are displayed throughout Festival on outside and inside of performance tent and in concession tent. OFS’s logo is displayed on the mailing page of ticket brochure. Acknowledgments listed in ticket brochure, program (bottom of each even numbered page, sponsor and donor pages) and website.

*Sponsors receive four complimentary tickets in premium seating to the concert they are sponsoring. If sponsoring something other than a concert, sponsors can select the concert for which they wish tickets. This applies to the Emerging Artists, Concession Tent and Ticket Envelope sponsors. Piano Series, Village Chamber Concerts, In-Kind, and Soloist sponsors receive two tickets to concerts of their choice.

*Sponsors receive an ad credit of $225 toward an ad in the program ($225 is the price of a 1/12 page ad, or the $225 is applied toward the cost of a larger ad). For sponsors who have paid sponsor fees of less than $1,000, $85 is applied to the cost of the ad. In-kind sponsorships do not receive credit towards program advertising. (No ad discounts for trades)

*A banner with the sponsor’s name is hung on the outside of the tent for evening and daytime concerts. (This is not applicable for the Ticket Envelope sponsor). A sign is posted for the Piano Series, Village Chamber Concert and other special concerts. Soloist and In-Kind sponsors are acknowledged on the concert page in the program. Concession Sponsor’s banner is hung on the Concession Tent for the entire festival.

*Acknowledgement in the Ticket Brochure: A list of sponsors appears in our ticket brochure (17,000 distribution).

*Acknowledgement in the Program:  Sponsors are acknowledged on the concert, sponsor and donor pages, and soloist sponsors are also listed at the top of each concert page.

*We create a direct link from the MMFA website to the sponsor’s website, and ask sponsors for a reciprocal link.

*Sponsors are invited to all of our donor benefit events including a picnic with the musicians, an after concert party, and our Holiday Gala. Sponsors also have the opportunity to purchase tickets early.

*Sponsors receive an attractive, heavy-duty placard for window display, identifying them as “Proud Sponsor of the 2009 Music Festival.”

Contributions to the Mendocino Music Festival help us achieve our mission, which is to enrich, educate and entertain all ages of residents and visitors by presenting world-class musicians and music on the Mendocino coast.

The Mendocino Music Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that welcomes and greatly appreciates donations of any size. All donations are tax deductible to the amount allowed by law.
       
Volunteer at the Festival:
We love our volunteers! The Mendocino Music Festival is fortunate to have the generous support and good will of over 300 volunteers each season. Our volunteer sign up day is Saturday, May 16, 2009 at the Mendocino Recreation Center on the corner of Pine & School Streets. If you would like to receive information about the sign up day or more information about volunteer opportunities, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Arlene Reiss at warlene@mcn.org
       
Host a musician:
Every year residents open their homes and hearts to visiting musicians and performers. Some guests stay two days, others two weeks; some bring spouses and others come alone. Although many of our visiting musicians have stayed with the same host families since the first Festival in 1987, we are always looking for new hosts.
